Congratulations to Portola’s Battle of the Books teams! Out of twelve schools, Portola won overall 1st Place in the Regionals at Holmes Middle School today!

Congratulations to our students who represented Portola HGM at this year's Los Angeles County Science & Engineering Fair!
We are excited to announce that our students did extremely well this year- three placed 1st in their categories, three placed 2nd in their categories, one placed 3rd in his category, one received Honorable Mention in his category, and one received Recognition in his category! Seven students will be going on to the California State Science and Engineering Fair on April 23-24! Our 8th grade students had an amazing time visiting Washington D.C, and Gettysburg, Hershey and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania over Spring break!
